The Recording Division physical office is closed to the public. Online/phone services are available Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Limited in-person services are available by appointment.

Search Public Records - Recording Division

The Recording Division of the Clerk & Recorder’s office provides document types, recording information, grantor and grantee names and legal descriptions (when available) on our website for public access via our Boulder County Public Search.

Free watermarked images are available for viewing, downloading, and printing and non-watermarked copies can be ordered for a small fee from within the search portal.

Search for the following documents recorded by the Recording Division*:

  • Addendums
  • Amendments/ratifications
  • Assignments
  • Covenants
  • Deeds
  • Foreclosure documents
  • Liens
  • Marriage licenses and civil union licenses
  • Mining claims
  • Plats and maps
  • UCCs

Residents can also sign up for FREE PropertyAlert accounts at the Boulder County Public Search portal.

*Note: Additional public records, not related to real estate records, are available through the Commissioners’ Meetings and Video Archives.
