Deeds, mortgage documents, easements, liens and other document recording are managed by the Registry of Deeds in each town.Many towns provide online access to recorded documents. Searches for online records can include searching by name, address, document type, and file date. Access to online records may require registration, depending on the town. For towns that are not online, access to recorded documents can be obtained by visiting the town Registry office in person, or through phone and mail requests.
