Mason County Land Records & Deeds Search
Washington deeds and general document recording are handled by the County Auditor in each county. Records kept include deeds, mortgage documents, plats, easements, powers of attorney, surveys, liens and marriage records. Many county auditor sites are online and allow searching of records by name, document type, parcel number, date or legal description. Several counties have removed or redacted documents to reflect privacy concerns over issues such as social security numbers or financial information. In cases where the documents have been removed, there is usually still a record in the index, only the image is unavailable. For counties that are not online, requests must be made over the phone, in person or via written request.
