Connecticut Assessor & Property Tax Records Search
Real and personal property tax records are kept by the Tax Assessor in each Connecticut Town. Land and land improvements are considered real property while mobile property is classified as personal property.Most assessors provide an online searchable database, whereby searches can be performed by map/block/lot/unit number, address, or owner’s name, or by using an interactive map. A few assessor offices require registration for the use of the online database.For counties that are not online, requests must be made over the phone, in person, by mail, or via email.
