Ohio inmate records are managed by the Department of Corrections and County Sheriff’s office in each county.Records managed by the County Sheriff can be obtained in person, by mail, by phone, or online using the VineLink service. Vinelink provides search resources and other information for crime victims and other interested parties.The Ohio Department of Corrections offers an online searchable database, whereby inmate searches can be performed by name, county of incarceration, status, parole hearing date, or inmate number. The records produced include name, inmate number, race, gender, location, offense, admission date, and inmate photo.
