Utah inmate records are managed by the Utah Department of Correction (UDOC) and County Sheriff’s office in each county. Records can be obtained by contacting the UDOC or the County Sheriff’s office in person, by phone, or by written request. The UDOC and many County Sheriff’s Offices also provide online access to inmate records through a service called Vinelink, which is an online system that provides information for crime victims and other interested parties.
