Voter records are the responsibility of the municipal county clerk or the municipal town registrar. Information can be obtained by contacting the municipal clerk or registrar in person, by phone, or by mail.Campaign finance records are managed by the Maine Commission on Governmental Ethics and Elections Practices. Online access to campaign finance reports is available to view and print. An online search of campaign contributions and expenditures is also available. Searches can be performed by candidate or committee name, office sought, date of contribution, amount of contribution, and contributor’s name. Expenditure searches are performed by candidate or committee name, office sought, date of expenditure, amount of expenditure, and recipient name.
